The company group traditionally stands for complete solutions from a single source, from precision steel tubes to full components. All of our locations can provide custom solutions with a high level of vertical integration consolidated. Surpassing customer expectations is a consistent motivating factor for the Prinz-Mayweg Group; we are aware of the responsibilities involved.

The industry specialist for complete solutions

A competitive advantage thanks to innovative developments
The Prinz-Mayweg Group processes carbon, micro-alloyed and high-strength steels. The level of efficiency of the machining processes, for example for the automotive industry, is reflected in the weight optimisation, among other things, resulting from reduced wall thicknesses in high-strength steels with excellent product characteristics and optimized, mechanical values. As an industry specialist for complex demands, the Prinz-Mayweg Group manufactures and delivers precision steel tubes for many conceivable applications in trade, industry and the automotive industry. Thanks to optimized manufacturing methods, products such as dual-phase steels and bor-manganese steels are produced and processed into components at the customer’s request. To reduce the weight and material, structured, rolled tube material is welded using a high-frequency welding process. The process used by Prinz-Mayweg for partially tempering finished tube components allows for the use of thin-wall tubes that can also withstand extreme loads at the corresponding areas in later applications. Our cylinder tubes promise a long life and a high level of impermeability, thanks to an even functional area with minimum roughness. Products or product components from the Prinz-Mayweg Group are used in shock absorbers and gas spring cylinders, in automotive seats, air bags, steering systems and locking systems and many other areas.
